All hail the Flying Spaghetti Monster!  Any deity that brings forth his full wrath when there are fewer pirates in the world is the deity for me.  An afterlife with a beer volcano is a real plus too.

This noodly deity arose from a farcical response to the consideration of the Kansas School Board to teach intelligent design as science, but seems to have taken on a life of its own.  Chief among the FSM off-shoots appears to be rampant merchandising.  I'm thinking the coffee mug with the graph showing the definitive and causal relationship between the decline of pirates and global warming is just the thing for me.
