I've posted a few pictures from the new camera over in the photography section. Right now I'm spending more effort on learning the camera than the actual photos. So don't expect any award winners just yet (ever? ;) ).
I'd also like to make two reccomendations for software to manage and present pictures.
Google's Picasa is an outstanding tool for organizing all your pictures. It also has surprisingly good, simple to use, photo editing capabilities (red-eye removal, brightness, etc.). The "I'm feeling lucky" button gets it right most of the time. It also supports most popular RAW formats. Best of all, it's free! Go download and give it a try.
Gallery is a free and open source web based photo alum manager. If you have access to web space that supports PHP and a mysql database the setup is a snap. Over the weekend I migrated Robbie's web site over to Gallery.
