Finally! A new version of popular software to rave about instead of rant.
A while back, I noted how annoying the latest version of Acrobat Reader was at the time. Yesterday I installed Acrobat 8 and met with a pleasant surprise. No unrelated advertising toolbars try to pad Adobe's wallet and so far no annoying attempts to update itself. The program loads faster and benefits from a cleaner interface.
Only two complaints, when you download the program you must uncheck a box or you'll end up getting Photoshop Album Starter addition and two programs are added to the start menu. I removed them both.
