SpamAssassin and Postfix are two of my favorite open source applications.
Version 3.0 of SpamAssassin is now available in CVS. Note this is a "bleeding edge" release so use at your own risk. I did the single user install and have been running it for a few weeks now. It is a nice improvement over 2.63. I get over 200 SPAMs a day now and my false negatives have fallen from about three to five a day to less than one.
Postfix released version 2.1. This version adds better support for database lookups and increased content filtering capabilities.
